    Stevens and it’s movers provided excellent service from beginning to end at a very reasonable rate. The two movers on both ends of our move were excellent. I would not hesitate to use Stevens again for any future moves. Everything arrived in good condition.

    The care they gave to my Cherry oak floors was unbelievable. Set up beds and putting the furniture were I wanted it was so great. All I had to do was take a nap. The three men who came to my home should be the example for your company.

    Joe,
    I wanted to take this opportunity to commend your company and especially the 5 men that performed my move. I know other people that have hired movers and all had some disappointments from their move. I, on the other hand, experienced a very positive move. Your men were extremely careful of my old house as well as my new house. I could not find a single dent or ding at my old house, my new house or on my furniture. Those men were really careful and respectful of everything they came in contact with. In today’s world, people that care about their job and their one-time customers I believe is a rarity, and therefore these men are a real asset to your company. Please share my comments with them and if you ever need a reference, don’t hesitate to ask.

    Once again, thank you for a job well done! Very well done indeed!

    The driver and workers were wonderful to work with. They made moving a fun event. The driver contacted me several days before the pickup day to see if I had any questions or concerns. He told me to leave the worrying to him and that it was his job to make my move easier. I really appreciated him trying to take the stress of moving off my shoulders. This was my second moving experience with Stevens and I would absolutely use them again. During the pickup my neighbors commented on how careful the movers were being with my furniture. They commented that if they ever move they would be contacting me for the driver’s name so they could use him too!

    The guys took good care of our items and didn’t mind that we called them the next day to find out where our TV cables were (they were in the TV cabinet of course – we just forgot they put them there). They were respectful of our house and items – packing/moving things as though they were their own personal items. They were patient as we decided where we wanted our furniture and didn’t mind moving things around a few times to make sure we had it set up just right. They even offered suggestions to help us out. They were professional and didn’t cut any corners (i.e. removed doors when needed, used different entrances, etc.). Most importantly, they were very friendly and helped set our mind at ease – in fact, after chatting with them 2 days in a row, we missed them on the 3rd day!

    Nobody called me to let me know when the movers would arrive to deliver my stuff to NY. It was early morning and I was in pajamas when I got an unexpected doorbell ring from the movers. Would have appreciated a call to let me know when they would arrive the day prior or an hour’s notice. Had an unappreciated conversation with one of them who made a sexist comment, but overall very friendly, nice, and providers of good service. Not the movers’ fault, but they arrived unprompted. Good on movers to figure out how to handle the street parking, though would have appreciated them to not complain about it or ask me how to find parking continuously and I just moved there and had no idea. So it seemed a little unprofessional, but it all worked out. Overall very cooperative and friendly, though their handling of my boxes, especially the ones labelled `fragile` could have been better as they sometimes would just let the boxes go above the ground rather than placing them down carefully. Nothing missing. Everything was great, though there was a moment where the conversation turned sexist towards women with one of my movers, which I did not appreciate, but it did not impact the quality of the movers’ service.

    Everything went very smooth. The salesman Kevin was right on with his estimate, Torrey, the driver and his helpers were all very courteous, punctual, professional and did exactly what they said they would do. My wife and I are very happy with our experience and we highly recommend Stevens and will definitely use them again

    Driver Mike Lovejoy was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Moving is very stressful but Mike’s calming nature reassured me throughout the entire process. Joseph Kiefer was also great to work with – he answered all of my questions regarding the loading and unloading process and ensured that all of the items were properly moved.

    As background, we were moving from a house into a much smaller apartment, so we moved some things into a garage and others into the second bedroom, which was labeled as storage. I understand that that made things a little more confusing. Plus, we are building a house here, so we do not plan to unpack the things in the second bedroom or the things in the garage until we move into the new house. Sean, the driver was great. The people that loaded the truck in Elyria and the people that unloaded the truck in Charlottesville were great. The packers packed things well as far as protecting our goods, but we can’t find some things because they were not packed with other things in the same room. For instance, the toilet bowl plunger has not been located even though we have unpacked everything from the bathrooms. Not a major problem, but we had to buy a new one. I’m sure we will find the original one when we move into the new house. Considering everything, you did a great job. Thank you.

    Possibly one of the best moves ever. Very professional team. The team was courteous, professional, and very very helpful. They carefully packed our belongings, loaded, and dropped off all of our property without a single problem. Very positive experience. Thank you Stevens!

    Joe,
    Some things missing, locked tool box opened, furniture damaged. Moving truck over filled,they had to use binder straps to squeeeeeze in some items, resulting in more damage!

    I have moved with Stevens multiple times and would highly recommend this company. They are responsive, reliable, and reasonably priced (I’ve had to obtain multiple moving quotes, and they have always been the lowest).

    All the guys that work so hard in Ohio went out of there way to insure my thing were pack and taken care of. What a great group they were. The Man and his son that deliver my things were the worst. They had no respect for anything. My boxes were torn and squash. They dragged my thing across the floor. They couldn’t get the legs back on my couch one leg was bent in and scratch my floor. All I wanted for them to stop and get out of my house. Very unhappy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Joe Zabukovec provided excellent service. Movers were on time and professional. Price was lower than estimate. There was minor damage to furniture dropped off at second stop – post broken from headboard and veneer piece broken off of dresser.

    Belongings were delivered uncrated, unwrapped and dirty. Furniture was beat up. 3 boxes are missing. I sent a in a claim. Driver seemed deceptive in hiding extreme damage. Got foot mud on the new carpeting. We had to put down the plastic runners ourselves. They used day laborers.

    I was pleased with the communication I received with Stevens as my moved progressed. I felt all of the people involved in my move were competent and professional. I was apprehensive in advance as all of my moves in the past had been corporate sponsored (about 10) but it all went smoothly.

    Left a table in my basement and there must be a bag or 2 of stuff missing. We haven’t been able to submit broken or missing things. The desk was completely ruined…..kitchen/dining table not put on van. Nothing has been done since these items were reported….must fill out the forms and then submitted. I’ve been ill,my son has been ill for two weeks. We have pictures and the broken furniture.

    As stressful as moving is, Mike and Chad did a excellent job keeping our confidence and assurance that they will do the best possible job to protect our household goods. And they did. There was just a couple items that were damaged including a TV but nothing that can’t be replaced. They did make the move much less stressful for us. As for Katie Book she was very proactive and even stopped over on move day to see how things were going. Thank you Stevens for for executing our move in a professional and caring manner.

    Steve and his crew were the best. On the pack-up in Ohio they took extra care with every item even our older press board computer desk and 2 bookcases. They both arrived with little or no damage as I am told they are often a total loss. Ashley carefully wrapped every single piece of furniture and all boxes had tag numbers as well as each item. Outstanding job of itemization.

    The administrative staff was extremely attentive, responsive and helpful. The driver was excellent and should be applauded for his professionalism. By and large, the crew members were courteous, respectful, and hardworking. The majority of the time, they placed items where we asked, and nearly always packed the rooms without serious damage. The van crew was outstanding and the temps were good.

    They were really great. However 2 things went wrong enough to comment on. 1) They did not bring nearly enough clothing boxes and we were forced to return on several occasions to finish ourselves, so we feel a bit overcharged based on that. 2) Many items just didn’t get to the truck. We are living in a condo and there are rules about elevator use. They were in a rush to get out so they could get our items up the elevator on time. Basically, not enough time was allocated for the move.

    Driver terrible as I have indicated One man crew was fantastic he did everything possible to make up for the bad behavior and work of the driver I felt very bad for him. I am overall pleased with Stevens and would use the company again. I feel my personal belongings were very well taken care of. However, I spoke with a manager in charge drivers, I did have a very bad experience with the driver from Texas who did my Atlanta delivery, he was not the same driver who packed my load in Texas . The driver was the nastiest person I ever dealt with in my life. I never heard back if anything was addressed with this particular driver. Examples being delivery in untimely manner 5 pm till 10pm, bad language and communication, horrific body odor etc. I only would have liked hearing that this man was reprimanded Thank you.

    This was the first time I used a professional moving service, and I was very satisfied with Steven Van Lines. The employees who moved our household belongings were courteous, professional, punctual and worked quickly. They took great care in packaging and moving our belongings; nothing was damaged or broken. I was also impressed by how much care they took upon arrival, both at origin and destination, to protect the walls and floors from getting dirty or damaged. Thank you for a job well done!

    The only complaint is that we were missing photos. We do not know how many boxes if there are more than one missing. We just know that the photos (some in frames) are not replaceable. We called the Bedford Hts office and they assured us they were putting a trace on them right away. It is our hope that they can be located and returned to us.

    The crew of James Miller (driver) and Brian (sorry can’t recall his last name) from Toledo region were great – worked together efficiently and cheerfully, even though the temp was 90+ and humidity high. They were very careful with everything, especially a couple of childhood treasures: the wooden rocking horse Santa brought me in 1951 when I was 4, and a large paper mache Easter egg from 1954. Both arrived safely in PA.

    The only reason I did not put all 8s is because several of our items that Stevens packed arrived damaged. I do understand that it can happen no matter how carefully you pack something, and overall we had a great experience with Stevens. The driver was a great leader, very knowledgeable and experienced. His crew worked loaded the truck morning until night like machines. The crew on both ends was very courteous and worked hard. If I move again, I would definitely hire back Stevens.
